On December 5th representatives of the Bogusława Nykiel-Ostrowska Open Hearts Foundation – the main organizer of the 26th World Hot Air Balloon Championship in 2026 – participated in the 7th Economic Forum in Krosno. During a panel discussion titled "About Projects Important for Krosno," they presented the prospects, opportunities, and challenges associated with organizing this prestigious sporting event, and discussed the benefits it could bring both to the city and the entire region. Among other things, the potential for promoting Krosno internationally, developing local infrastructure, and opportunities for collaboration with entrepreneurs and institutions were highlighted.
The Foundation's Board, represented by Jakub Mika, Wiktor Więcek and Grażyna Więcek, would like to thank them for the invitation and for providing the opportunity to present the objectives of next year's event to such an outstanding and inspiring group. They also emphasize that dialogue with the local business community is an important element of preparations for the Championship and paves the way for joint efforts to ensure the event's success.
